✨ From Rail Tracks to Neural Nets: My Journey Building Intelligent Systems

As a kid, I was obsessed with how things moved—bikes, trains, anything with wheels. That curiosity shaped my path through a degree in Transportation Technology and then into the deep world of data science. Now, I work at the intersection of real-world systems and intelligent computation.

My projects range across disciplines:

  • At Siemens Mobility, I led data management for train scheduling and ramp-up strategies, using tools like Power BI, plotly.js, and Python to forecast engineering workloads.
  • For IIT Madras, I explored how COVID-19 reshaped the energy economy in India’s MSMEs.
  • With GramVikas and Catalyst, I built custom Excel VBA tools to help NGOs collect and visualize critical WaSH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) data.

But it doesn't stop at professional gigs. I’ve created:

  • A railway diagnostics telemetry proof-of-concept using ESP32 boards and SFTP systems.
  • A CV parser using computer vision and OCR, tackling the messiest resumes out there.
  • A POSOCO power data miner, wrangling national energy data from PDFs with Python, BeautifulSoup, and Tesseract.

I work best at the edge—where structured logic meets human problems. My blog is where I unpack my work, share lessons in machine learning, and talk openly about the growing pains of learning to build for real impact.
